Edit as JSON, validated
Open the dashboard menu and edit the document in place — it's validated on save, and round-trips through export and import.
Your coding agent sets up Traceway and debugs production for you.

Specialized · Dashboards as Code
Every Traceway dashboard is a plain JSON document underneath. Build it in the UI, export it to your repo, sync it from CI, and apply it across every project in your organization. No click-ops, no drift.
Service facts
The format, on the board.
No click-ops
There is no separate representation to drift. Treat the repo as truth and the next CI upsert converges every environment; prefer UI-first, export and commit. MIT licensed, identical self-hosted — included on every plan.
POST /api/dashboards/import{ "mode": "upsert" } matches dashboards by name, so the job is idempotent and re-runs are safe.
On this line
Review dashboard changes in pull requests like any other code, and let the pipeline keep every environment in sync.
Open the dashboard menu and edit the document in place — it's validated on save, and round-trips through export and import.
Commit the JSON to your repo and have CI post it to the import API with a personal access token; upsert matches by name, so re-running converges.
A fix made in one dashboard is instantly live in every project it's applied to; unapplying only removes it from that project's tabs.
Install the host agent, Go runtime, ClickHouse, or DuckDB templates and customize freely; selecting a metric in ⌘K opens the widget editor prefilled.
